That You May Believe - When The Shepherd Speaks

This week’s sermon continued in John 10, where Jesus is confronted by religious leaders who ask Him to plainly say whether He is the Christ. Jesus responds by pointing to His words and works, explaining that His sheep hear His voice, follow Him, receive eternal life, and are secure in His hand.
The sermon also addressed some of the theological tension in this passage—especially around belief, salvation, election, free will, and eternal security. Rather than becoming divisive over theological systems, we were reminded to hold firmly to the gospel: Christ died for our sins, was buried, and rose again according to the Scriptures.
